BT
BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS
BT-Caps are encapsulated capsules containing a protein-synthesizing and spore-producing bacterium known as Bacillus thuringiensis. The Bt toxin dissolves in the high-pH insect gut and becomes active. These toxins then attack the gut cells of the insect, causing the Bt spores to spill out of the gut and germinate within the insect, leading to death within a couple of days.

Per Acre Required = Minimum 1 capsules, Recommended 2 or 3 (Over Dose Has No Side Effects)

BENEFITS OF BT
BT exhibits poisoning effects on Lepidoptera, Diptera, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Hemiptera, Orthoptera, Mallophaga, and other insects, as well as snails, nematodes, and protozoa. Importantly, BT proteins are selective for insects and harmless to humans, vertebrates, and plants. Accounting for approximately 90% of biopesticide production and use, BT has become the most widely used microbially produced pesticide globally.
WHEN TO BE USED
Apply within 3 days before and after the Dark Moon (Amavasya) every month, or 3 to 4 times every 5 to 6 days as needed when insect/borer/larvae infestation occurs.
RECOMMENDATION
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is widely recommended for pest control in agriculture, forestry, fruit trees, vegetables, and environmental sanitation, targeting insects such as beetles (Coleoptera), flies including mosquitoes (Diptera), and butterflies (Lepidoptera). It is used to control beetles and the larvae of mosquitoes, black flies, moths, and other susceptible insects.
